Stock Availability

Our website reflects our current stock levels. If any item is out of transaction becomes a customer back order. We will advise estimated delivery date and payment will not be processed until item is back in stock.

In the unlikely event that there is a store and online transaction of the same last item at the same time we will contact give a full refund as soon as practically possible and will contact you asap to remedy the situation.


Pricing is in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and includes GST of 15%.

Prices are correct at time of publication although we reserve the right to change them at any time. If this happens with an item that you have ordered, we will contact you prior to processing your order.

Sale items are only on sale while stocks last. If we have to re order a sales item, the sales price does not apply and it will be sold at the original retail price.

Vouchers and Credit Notes

These cannot be reissued so please treat as cash.


We use DPS to process our payments. DPS is a PCI DSS compliant Visa and MasterCard certified solution, and is one of the most trusted services in NZ for real-time credit card processing.

Gift Registries


Any products placed on gift registries that are on sale are only available at that price while stocks last. Once the promotion has sold out, we may be able to reorder the product but it will be at the original retail price.

Stock Availability

All items are available at the time your register is created (unless you chose backordered items). Items purchased on the registry will be removed from stock at time of purchase. However, as our suppliers frequently change their product ranges without notice, we cannot guarantee supply. If an item has been purchased from your registry and is found to be unavailable, we will offer a gift voucher to the value of that gift. This voucher can be used towards purchasing anything in our range instore or online. Cash refunds will not be given when gifts are unavailable for any reason.

We will not notify wedding guests who have purchased a discontinued or unavailable item that the gift has been exchanged for a gift voucher.

Registry Completion & Delivery

All presents will be gift wrapped and held at our Mount Maunganui store. The recipients of the register will be contacted close to the event to arrange collection or delivery for a fee.


If the event is cancelled or postponed the must notify us by email. Any guests who have purchased a gift will be contacted and offered a refund. The recipients may be required to pay a cancellation fee of 10% of the total value of the items purchased.

To say thank you for your gift registry, The Gilded Edge will gift you a voucher for 10% of the total purchases made from your registry (excludes electrical and electronic items, gift vouchers and items already on special).
